Brief Encounter Preview - Altrincham Garrick

ALTRINCHAM Garrick is hoping to set 21st century theatregoers swooning with a new version of the classic romance, Brief Encounter.

Set to the music of Noel Coward, this new adaptation by Emma Rice also features a Rachmaninov concerto and many of the songs by Coward will be performed live.

The story revolves around a chance meeting, turned into a memorable movie, between Alec and Laura in the refreshment room at Milford Junction railway station.
