The Lowry offers an alternative to the usual theatrical fayre
THE National Theatre begins its tour with The Ocean at the End of the Lane at The Lowry on December 12.
Based on the book by Neil Gaiman, it tells the intriguing tale of a man who, after returning to his childhood home, finds himself standing beside the pond at the old Sussex farmhouse where he used to play.
He’s then transported back to his 12th birthday where he meets his friend Lottie, who tells him it’s not a pond but an ocean.
A strong cast includes former Eastenders star Charlie Brooks, a previous winner of I’m A Celebrity - Get Me Out Of Here.
The Ocean at the End of the Lane is suitable for the over 12s and anyone interested in booking tickets should visit https://thelowry.com/whats-on/the-ocean-at-the-end-of-the-lane/
