Cartwright classic heading for The Lowry

THE Lowry is staging a modern day northern classic in the shape of The Rise and Fall of Little Voice from June 6-11.

With the captivating warmth of a contemporary fairytale, Jim Cartwright’s musical play tells the story of an ordinary girl with an extraordinary talent for impersonating some of the world’s greatest divas, from Judy Garland to Shirley Bassey.
