THREE much loved stars of stage and screen, Hayley Mills, Paul Nicholas and Paula Wilcox will be packing their bags and heading for The Lowry this autumn to appear in The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.

Mills starred in one of my all-time favourite films, Whistle Down the Wind, the gentle and moving story of a group of children who mistake an escaped German POW for Jesus Christ and speaking of today’s casting announcement she said:

“I am delighted to join the company, as this beautiful story of love and the importance of new beginnings receives a new life as a fantastically feel-good stage play.
