ALTRINCHAM Garrick’s new season launches with The Shawshank Redemption from September 14-23.

This is the compelling tale of Andy Dufresne, sent to prison for the murder of his wife and her lover while claiming his innocence.

One of my favourite films, this production is classed as suitable for those theatregoers who are over the age of 14.

Performances are at 7.30pm and the run also includes matinees.
